Through your donations, S.H.I.N.E.-CDC is able to provide quality programs to the community. Our D.I.V.A.S. program (Determined Intellectual Victorious Anointed Sisters) and Shining S.T.A.R.S. (Smart, Talented, Ambitious, Radiant, Star) are mentoring programs that service girls as early as elementary up through high school age. D.I.V.A.S. and Shining S.T.A.R.S. teaches girls how to be young ladies and how to advocate for themselves and their communities. Boys2Men and Junior-Boys2Men are mentoring programs that teach young boys essential life skills, develop their self esteem and character so they will become productive and proud members of society and young men. These programs are just two examples of the wonderful work that S.H.I.N.E.-CDC has developed and implemented that will help build strong communities.
